Ecolnet Case Study :: 2407 Mountain Activities

2407 Mountain is the only business of the Region of Mani (Peloponnese) which organises outdoor activities in the mountain. Twice a year, it organises mountain activities attracting 300 to 500 people, who are using accomodations and other facilities of Kardamili, the nearest locallity, strengthening the local economy.
These events are organised during the low season.
2407 Mountain also maintain with its own ressources the paths of the area and marked hicking trails that attract a lot of people, especially during summer.
This is the reason why the company is helped, on a voluntary basis, by the local community, professionals, local association and other local stakeholders.
